Dr. Nino Shoshitashvili is an accomplished academic and media expert with over two decades of experience in education, sociology and public communications. Below is a detailed timeline of her academic and professional journey.
1994 – Graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Sociology.
2005 – Completed Postgraduate studies at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
2010 – Awarded Doctoral Degree in Sociology from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
1993–2010 – Worked as a sociologist and journalist at Georgia's First Channel; authored and hosted multiple television projects, including "Rating".
2000–2010 – Head of Press and Public Relations Department, Chamber of Control of Georgia.
2010–Present – Associate Professor, Faculty of Mass Communication and Journalism, Grigol Robakidze University (GRUNI).
2011–2017 – Associate Professor, National University of Georgia; Member of the Academic Council.
2017–Present – Professor, Faculty of Engineering and Technology & Social Sciences, Georgian Technical University.
2010 – Published research work titled “Freedom of Telemedia and Independence in Post-Revolutionary Georgia (2003–2009)”.
