Tourism Students Participate in Wine Festival at Mtatsminda
An external lecture was organized for the students of the Tourism Program at the School of Business and Management, Grigol Robakidze University, during the Wine Festival held at Club Anderville on Mtatsminda, titled “New Small Cellars on the Big Stage 2025.”
The lecture was planned as part of the Event Administration course to give students real-world experience in event management.
The festival, now in its seventh year, featured 44 small wineries and 3 companies related to the wine industry. Students learned about how festivals are organised and had the opportunity to interact with company representatives about wine production and wine tourism.
Many companies also showed interest in collaborating with the university for future events and offering internships and job opportunities to students.
The lecture was conducted by Maia Meladze, Associate Professor of the Tourism Program.
