The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Congress was held in Madrid.

By the way, the Congress is an international forum where modern science, clinical practice and future innovations meet.

Professor Nino Chagiashvili (GRUNI) acted as a speaker and head of one of the sessions (Heart Transplantation) at the forum. The researcher presented a report on the topic "Pericarditis: disease progression or complication caused by ICI?". 

The experience gained at the ESC Congress once again confirms that cardio-oncology and heart transplantation are areas in the development of which Georgia's participation is not only necessary, but also inevitable. This is a path based on knowledge, experience and international cooperation that ensures the protection of patients' rights and their recovery.
