On September 11, 2025, the Fall Research Seminar Series resumed with a lecture by Professor Beverly Irby, attended by GRUNI’s young researchers and academic staff. Professor Irby shared in-depth insights on academic publishing, discussing the rapid growth of the publishing industry, its effects on the field, quality and ethical concerns, and valuable recommendations for both authors and readers.

The seminar concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session. The next session is scheduled for September 25.

The online “Paths to Publication” program includes seminars on research, academic writing, publication, and grant-related topics. Hosted by the School of Education and Human Development at Texas A&M University, in collaboration with the Graduate Advisory Board, the program is designed specifically for early-career researchers.

Anna Abesadze, Advisor to the Rector of Grigol Robakidze University, expressed gratitude to Texas A&M University for this excellent opportunity and the continued fruitful collaboration. The partnership will further strengthen with the renewal of the memorandum of understanding between the two universities, which will be officially signed on September 30.
