IV International Conference on Competition & Consumer Protection, Tbilisi 2025

On November 13–14, 2025, Tbilisi hosted the IV International Conference on Competition and Consumer Protection in Georgia.

The conference featured 9 panel discussions, including 3 international sessions and one presentation focused on sectoral research.

One of the key discussions was titled “Competition Protection Policy in Regulated Sectors of the Economy: Opportunities and Challenges.” The session was addressed by GRUNI’s Deputy Rector, Professor Vakhtang Charaia, and moderated by Levan Kalandadze, Deputy Chairman of the Competition and Consumer Protection Agency of Georgia.

Officials from the State Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control Service of Azerbaijan, the Communications Commission of Georgia, the State Competition Commission of Georgia and the National Bank of Georgia also participated and shared their insights.
